The guest house is an enchanted, aristocratic sandstone building with a distinct character and old-worldly charm. The guest house offers accommodation for various sporting and other events in this area such as the Ottosdal Nite Race. This is a fully-catered facility, offering world class service. Comfortable conference and wedding facilities are also available. On-site activities include a 20-hectare dam, ideal for water-skiing, canoeing and swimming. There are also 2 tennis courts, bird watching, horse-riding, and hiking trails.
Your hosts, Coert and Magdalena Coetzee, have been living and working on the farm for the past 30 years. Magdalena’s love of music, people, interior decorating, and good food give a distinctive character and atmosphere to Ouplaas. Magdalena and Coert are also known for their hospitality with style, where guests will experience farm life and the peacefulness it brings at Ouplaas.
